You know what? The previous post is super disjointed. A good reason why you shouldn't be writing blog posts when you are tired. And as usual, I'm really tired and it's 1.10 am in the morning of 1st July. Ay-hay. You really must love mugging and doing homework until you are seeing stars and sandmen in front of you.
The original plan was to do homework the entire night. But apparently it's my cousin Mitch's 7th brithday and I went, [although with plenty of misgivings because I suspected it would end up like what I'm doing now, staying up.] The protagonist was Mitch, but the star was Lucas, his youngest brother and latest addition to our family.
I think all my relatives had alot alot of amusement because I have no idea how to take care of hyperactive baby such as my baby cousin. He squirmed and regularly snapped his head from side to side to catch up on all the action. And I was like, "Oh my gosh, he's like squirming. I'm going to drop him. What am I supposed to do?" And if I could've held him upside down, I would have. And when he drooled, I was like "ahhh, drool! Get tissue, get tissue!" Not one of my proudest moments. Urgh.
Manon and Ezra will dutifully let me pick them up, but when they wanted down, they made sure I knew it. Lucas didn't mind being carried, but he always needed to move his extensions, making for an awkward hold. And when his instinct of self-presevation warned him that I might drop him, he would start to whimper, setting me off on another round of "What am I supposed to do?!"s.
All in all, the birthday cake was nice. The party was nice, and I got to see the Wii up close in action. Aw man, really want all the third-generation consoles. Zzz
